Cada a\u00f1o, desde esa fecha, las campa\u00f1as han girado en torno a un lema. Este a\u00f1o la consigna es \u201cEs momento de actuar por tu salud \u00f3sea\u201d, incidiendo en la importancia de crear conciencia sobre la salud \u00f3sea, la osteoporosis, y su consecuencia cl\u00ednica m\u00e1s com\u00fan e importante: las fracturas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoy, D\u00eda Mundial de la Osteoporosis, desde Theramex queremos mostrar nuestro compromiso con los pacientes y con el tratamiento de esta enfermedad silente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-purple-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\">Algunos datos que ponen de manifiesto la situaci\u00f3n actual de la patolog\u00eda:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>La mala adherencia al tratamiento es uno de los problemas m\u00e1s importantes en la efectividad de estos. S\u00f3lo el 40% de los pacientes cumple con el tratamiento durante m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o y un 20% a los dos a\u00f1os.<\/li><li>En 2020 se estimaron 158 millones de personas con alto riesgo de fractura.<br>Los cambios demogr\u00e1ficos apuntan a una estimaci\u00f3n de que en 2040 esta cifra se habr\u00e1 duplicado.<\/li><li>En todo el mundo, la osteoporosis causa m\u00e1s de 8,9 millones de fracturas al a\u00f1o, lo que supone una fractura por osteoporosis cada 3 segundos.<\/li><li>En Espa\u00f1a se estima que 4 de cada 10 mujeres \u2265 70 a\u00f1os (39%) y 1 de cada 10 hombres \u2265 70 a\u00f1os (12%) tienen osteoporosis.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-purple-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\">Compartimos tambi\u00e9n los resultados de la encuesta internacional \u201cAsk For More\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e1s de 1.000 mujeres con osteoporosis contestaron lo siguiente: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Un tercio hubiera pedido m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n sobre su salud \u00f3sea si hubieran sabido que 1 de cada 3 mujeres mayores de 50 a\u00f1os sufrir\u00e1 una fractura por fragilida<\/li><li>La falta de comprensi\u00f3n de sus opciones de tratamiento y el sentimiento de que, simplemente, deb\u00edan aceptarlo, provocaron que no hablaran con su m\u00e9dico sobre su insatisfacci\u00f3n.<\/li><li>S\u00f3lo un tercio de las encuestadas comprenden completamente su condici\u00f3n tras haber hablado con su m\u00e9dico.<\/li><li>La importancia de la educaci\u00f3n sobre la patolog\u00eda no debe ser infravalorada.
